Rasul Guliyev's party not to join Azadlyg coalition |

The Open Society Party intends to continue its independent activity.
According to party chairman Akif Shahbazov, by decision of the Supreme Medjlis, the party does not have a right to join any associations or coalitions.
"Cooperation with the Azadlyg coalition is also not expected. Our party is functioning on the basis of the program, adopted and ratified by the Supreme Medjlis. The party will be able to join the coalition, only when all parties agree to unite and create any large association. We are not going to join separate parties", Shahbazov announced.

Armenians violate ceasefire in Agdam |

 Armenian armed forces locating in the occupied lands of Azerbaijan violated ceasefire on January 26 again. According to the press service for the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan, the Armenian armed forces fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces locating just opposite their posts near the Djavakhirli village of Agdam.
The enemy used submachine and machine guns, according to the information.
Armenians were stopped by response fire. No casualties were reported.

Azerbaijan national field hockey team has played a friendly match in Muscat, Oman. The national team met with Holland team, the vice-champion of Europe, APA-Sport reports.
Tahir Zaman’s team scored two goals in the first half. The Holland team had an advantage in the second half which resulted in the defeat of Azerbaijan team 2:3. Two more friendly matches will be held today and on January 27.
The field hockey team is expected to meet India too. The training preparations in Oman will last till January 31.
