OIC youth forum condemns Armenians' diversion in Azerbaijan's occupied lands PDF Print E-mail
The OIC Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation condemns violation of ceasefire by Armenian armed forces, which resulted in death and wounding of a number of soldiers and civilians among Azerbaijanis since 1994-period of conclusion of a ceasefire agreement between the conflicting parties.

Armenian armed forces violate ceasefire in Fizuli and Tovuz PDF Print E-mail
Armenian armed forces locating in the occupied lands of Azerbaijan violated ceasefire on March 11 and 12 again.  According to the press service for the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan, the Armenian armed forces fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces locating just opposite their posts at a nameless height of Fizuli, near Javakhirli village of Agdam. Moreover, Armenians fired at the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces in Kokha Nebi and Agbulag villages of Tovuz from the posts in Chinarli and Mosesgekh villages as well as from a nameless height of the Berd region of Armenia. Armenians were stopped by response fire. No casualties were reported.
 
Archaeological findings of Neolithic age discovered in Zagatala, Azerbaijan PDF Print E-mail
Neolithic and III-I millennium B.C. archaeological findings belonging to Yalavlu Tepe culture have been discovered in Zaqatala Region of Azerbaijan, Jahangir Soltanov, Director of Zagatala Regional Ethnography Museum told APA.
J. Soltanov said the findings had been discovered on the left bank of Alazan River near Muganli village, Zaqatala.
Local farmers discovered a stone horse tooth chopper of Neolithic age under the ground and fishermen discovered Yalavlu Tepe pottery in the bank of Alazan River. 
J. Soltanov said child graves and bones of III-I millennium B.C. had also been discovered there.
He noted that the unique evidences discovered there showed rich historical heritage of that area and it was necessary to provide archaeological excavations there.
 
International organizations should state their position on Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict PDF Print E-mail
"International organizations, in particular, the European Union, should state their position regarding Armenian-Azerbaijan conflict".The due announcement was made by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev by results of the meeting with his Bulgarian counterpart Georgy Parvanov, visiting Baku.
"Our citizens, who suffered ethnic cleansing by Armenia, must return to the places of their permanent residence. The aggressor should be notified that Nagorno Karabakh will never be annexed to Armenia and will never have an independent status", Aliyev noted.
Parvanov in turn said Bulgaria's position on the said issue has been the same since the chairmanship of official Sophia in the OSCE.
 
Norwegian and US embassies in Azerbaijan indicate application of double standards PDF Print E-mail
Harsh announcements of Norwegian and US embassies in Azerbaijan regarding the court decision on Ganimat Zahid's case are frustrating.The due announcement was made by spokesman for Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Khazar Ibragim at a press conference today.
He noted that the aforementioned countries and the world community, on the whole, did not demonstrate an adequate reaction on bloody events in Armenia.  "Considering the inadequate reaction on events, which occurred in Armenia, such harsh reaction to the events in Azerbaijan is unclear. This is an indicator of double standards", he said.
