Another bigger monetary transfer system MoneyGram supports separatists of Nagorno Karabakh PDF Print E-mail
Two banks, illegally functioning in Khankendi - Artsakhbank and ArmEconomBank are cooperating with the world's bigger monetary transfer system MoneyGram, according to the website of the system.

The second bank (ArmEconomBank) is an Armenian bank and can open its illegal "affiliate" in the occupied land without any prior notification, while ArtsakhBank was founded in Karabakh on the basis of the "Central Bank of Karabakh" and former Savings Bank, which means that it has been illegally occupied:

ArtsakhBank cooperates with Western Union, LEADER, MoneyGram and Migom. Moreover, it is also a member of MasterCard Internations.

Notably, MoneyGram International, Inc is an American financial company, dealing with operations on the international financial markets, offering international monetary transfer services. It is headquartered in Minneapolis. The company was founded in 1940. It is one of Western Union's rivals on the market of international monetary transfers. MoneyGram currently functions in 182 countries of the world.

We call on the Foreign Ministry, Finance Ministry, National Bank of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers, Banking Association of Azerbaijan and directors' board of all Azerbaijani banks to interfere with the situation and give the worthy response to all monetary systems, conducting illegal transfer of money to Nagorno Karabakh and take in all details, connected with ArtsakhBank and "shutdown" of VTB affiliate in Nagorno Karabakh.

Armenians Destroy About 800 Mosques in Occupied Lands of Azerbaijan PDF Print E-mail

Azerbaijan, Baku, 23 July/ TrendNews, corr E. Babayev/ The Armenians have destroyed about 800 mosques in the occupied lands of Azerbaijan. “It is terrible. This is barbarism, Rabiyat Aslanova, chairman of the standing parliament commission on human rights of Azerbaijan said in Baku on 23 July during the meeting with the delegation of Museum of Tolerance of Los-Angeles led by Abraham Cooper.

According to Aslanova, the Armenians have destroyed the Azerbaijani cemeteries as well. “However, the Armenian churches in Azerbaijan are still protected. We, unlike Armenians, are not barbarians,” Aslanova said and added that once Armenians lived in Azerbaijan under same conditions with the other confessions. “Armenians misused the tolerance in Azerbaijan for their own purposes. The current state of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is a result of the Armenian chauvinism,” Aslanova said and added that in spite of all of these, Azerbaijan is willing to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict by peaceful means.

Cooper said that many nations and countries all over the world do not have comprehensive information about Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. “When I heard in Baku about the destroyed mosques, I was terrified,” the guest said and he also invited the Azerbaijani delegation to US. According to Cooper, during the visit certain meetings may be held to inform the world of the truth about Nagorno-Karabakh. “We are interested in this visit,” he said.
