Novruz Holiday can be included into the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.Tehran coordination meeting of the countries marking Novruz Holiday will be dedicated to preparation and presenting to UNESCO the necessary documents to be included into the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The meeting will be held on August 25-28. Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan informed the representatives of Afganistan, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tadjikistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan alongside with Azervaijan and Iran will also take part in the event. Department chief of Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan, F.Babayev and department chief of Nizami Ganjavi National Museum of Literature, Sh.Alibayli will represent Azerbaijan in the conference. |

Summer promises intensification in Armenia |

 It was Robert Kocharyan's help and order which helped Serzh Sarkisyan to escape from vertex of March events and he must take state exam without any guardian now. An Armenian was detained in the border of Turkey-Armenia. The detainee told it is difficult to live in Armenia. We would not choose to live in strange country if there was not a problem there. I wonder what is the reason Armenians leaving their country prefer Turkey. To view with their eyes, there would be no comfortable, well-to-do life in Turkey? This a country they claim in genocide against Armenians? It seems it becomes clearer to me. Armenians cannot live in Armenia, a country being within the blockade of Azerbaijan and Turkey and they take refuge in those who created this blockade. If things go on this way we will be ready to meet Armenians turning to Azerbaijan. By the way, we have had an experience regarding this issue: two Armenians - Roman Teryan and Artur Apresyan turned to Azerbaijan once. On the other hand in fact it is not easy to live in Armenia at present.
Summer is the beginning of a new season of nature, also a new chapter of national liberation book in Armenia now. President Sargsyan is in front of mass pressure and it is the first time when Robert Kocharyan is not with him. It was Robik's help and order which helped him to escape from vertex of March events and he must take state exam without any guardian, protector now. The events took place on June 20 in Armenia predicts Serzh's state is turning to a new stage. The matter concerns the unauthorized meeting of over 100 000 men in Armenia. Sargsyan withdrew and lost the fight of battle in the aforesaid event. I can say as a participant and witness of 1989-90ths that power finishes with end like the USSR when it fails to keep its word, yields position to opposition. It looks like the USSR playing a game of democracy wanted to seem a democratic country despite it was a dictatorship and collapsed finally.
The same was with Azerbaijani A.Mutallibov also ousted from power in March 1992. Moral superiority of opposition resulted with oust of Kuchma in Ukraine, Shevardnadze in Georgia. Neither Mutallibov, nor Kuchma and Shevardnadze used force and power demonstrated its weakness in the place where opposition displayed force. The remains, in fact, the un-remained events, that is, they withdrew from power, are known to you. And Serzh followed the same approach to opposition. No compromise should be made; otherwise you can lose the chance. You should be either democrat or a dictator once for all. Half-pregnancy is not possible, though sometimes it becomes possible when it ends with blood. And this looks like the events on March 1 in Armenia. Weak points of Armenian president were revealed in the course of several last weeks and certainly, the gross master of meetings Levon Ter-Petrosyan will masterly take advantage of the situation. I mean Sargsyan's displaying resolve till the end. If Sargsyan as the head of state previously promised to reveal unauthorized rallies to prove the situation is under control in the country, the last events showed his promise was nothing but just an Armenian word. That is, Sargsyan did his best to remove the meeting. The administration of Sargsyan's power saying a Junior Armenians Rally will be held in the "Liberty" Square with participation of children upon demand of population that day and holding meeting is impossible for the aforesaid reason called the revolutioners to provocation. The event was observed with neither armour equipment nor soldiers with bludgeon and shield, but the equipment specific for children's squares this time. The fact that not a single child was seen at the site also draws more interest. But Ter-Petrosyan did not go to confrontation with power through "children's talk". True, he also refused from going to Razdan stadium which the power proposed to revolutioners. He publicized his intends to holding meeting in Matendaran Square. And unlike Sargsyan he was more resolved. He kept his word. He did not enter the square and this caused failure of Sargsyan's plan on ridiculous argument "Look! They are ready to crush even children". In short unlike Kocharyan, Sargsyan seemed more "safe" person. And Ter-Petrosyan once more proved he controls situation at least in the capital city despite his many of his supporters are imprisoned and his activity is restricted by administrative instruments. Levon differing from Sargsyan plans everything in detail. This is why he does not occur in stupid situations like Sargsyan. He holds unauthorized meetings nevertheless he owns a paper proving he can hold illegal meetings. He can answer he had applied 45 times, if asked. Here are 45 refusals of the power. What could I do then? Ter-Petrosyan is a sly person. For example, he calls to involve Robert Kocharyan firing at unarmed citizens to criminal responsibility and says "we shall obtain Robert Kocharyan using anti-human criminal to answer before Hague Court!" He calls names such as Amenian Public Prosecutor A,Ovsepyan, former Defense Minister M.Arutunyan, and former chief of President's Security among people committing crime. He also speaks as a person initiating to announce Bako Saakyan, the leader of Daqliq Qarabaq regime a persona non grata in Armenia. By the way, artful Levon uses policy here and takes a step to be used as an element to intensify Qarabaq –Armenia confrontation. He called many other names as well. But… Now pay attention to this "but". But where is Sargsyan? Aha. Following this, Levon applies to Sargsyan as his old friend. "I apply to Sargsyan as my old friend and say just one call is enough to release the imprisoned men!" What could serve as more compliment to Sargsyan's address? Ter-Petrosyan proposes dialogue to power, namely to Sargsyan, moreover, he, applying to PACE in the eve of its session asks not to apply sanctions against Armenia and not to freeze Armenia's right of voting in PACE. In fact it is a call to capitalization, not only a proposal of dialogue. Let's s look through the conditions: "The subject of our talks can be within extraordinary parliament and presidential elections. Because Armenian people neither recognizes the outcomes of presidential elections, nor admits Serzh Sargsyan as President.
"Now let's turn back to June 20 again. Anyway, people managed to enter the square at last, despite governor arrived from Moscow was in Yerevan, Special Forces were at disposal. It should be noted that the meeting started 2 hours later than it was scheduled. This is not only a statistics. This also means a crowd of 100 000 citizens stood confronting police for two hours. And finally police could not stand before the crowd and the rally managed to enter Matenadaran Square, the place they had planned. This is another assumption that Sargsyan was obliged to allow the meeting in the last moment and it was Sargsyan's first serious decision as President.Despite Russia did his best till final moment and sent its first police to Armenia one day before the meeting. That is, the buses full of Special Forces including Russian Ministrer of Internal Affairs Rashid Nurgaliyev were ready at the Zvartnos Airport. But Serzh refused of beating his citizens. And he proved he is differs from Kocharyan. At the same time Sargsyan realizing the seriousness of his decision, decided to leave for Moscow on June 23 to discuss his step with his bosses.
Now we shall speak about the first day.
Another version says disobedience took start by police during the evnts. Recently Sargsyan commenting on March 1 events in Armenia noted there would not be victims if police were not unprofessional. Serzh claiming police in suppression of unrest in his speech caused disbelief among police to the new president. Police is less obstinate in suppression of meetings now. Police say "We have order by power. We tell you. Do it as you wish. That's your own business!" This is very dangerous tendency. It is evident President should not let down his police and make a victim of it. Especially in a situation when there are blood, death, body of brother. Will police crawl under bodies after such statements? Some features of Ter-Petrosyan draws attention on this background. Sargsyan can change his decision before pressure of the meeting related with unauthorized meeting; he cannot forecast behaviour of adults after children's rally. But Levon can plan details of his decisions. Razdan Square proposed for holding meeting for it was far from the center of the city. He demanded "Liberty" Square. And Levon choose Matenadaran. Power not letting them in "Liberty" Square was happy. But Levon did not lose the situation. He could hold a tremendous meeting. If power authorized the meeting takes place in "Liberty" Square it would be more explicable. Because "Liberty" Square is situated in a place with a single road to be locked, and citizens would not feel disturbance, whereas Matenadaran is more inexpedient for holding meetings. It concerns movement of citizens and traffic as well. This part of the city was almost paralyzed when a meeting was held here. On the other hand, ideas of Mayor's Office did not authorize the meeting to preserve tranquility in the city also seem unlikely. Because Kocharyan's puppet in north part of Armenia is called bad names almost every week. On the other hand "Liberty" Squate is not personal caprice of Ter-Petrosyan. In fact his has got more supporters. Look, how can the crowd of so many men have room in this square? Where goes the end of the crowd? Ter-Petrosyan really needs "Liberty" Square. Sargsyan is in a miserable situation that the reasons of his pride and shame also are unbelievable."Armenia is seen in European press for two reasons during last months: bad and good reasons!" The first reason is the confrontations in the capital city after presidential elections, the second – the meeting with my Azerbaijani counterpart on June 7." The citation shows Sargsyan characterized his meeting with Azerbaijani president as positive.
The fact that those who caused unrest on March 1-2 are still not involved to criminal responsibility is another weak point of Sargsyan. There exists a general formula, related with mass unrest. What does it mean? It is uncertain whether it is publicized or not, and/or where are the guilty ones if it is publicized? But it should be noted here that the relevant structures of power took ridiculous position over the issue. Armenian Public Prosecutor's Office informed police did not use arms. However the reverse of the fact was known lately. Public Prosecutor's Office informed vehicles did not crush men. Facts proved the reverse of the information lately, etc.
Levon Ter-Petrosyan is reviving. There is only one way of rendering him harmless. This way is known to those who caused fire in Parliament. But will Sargsyan choose this way? If not…Then people will choose a way. Either president or Parliament… Extraordinary.

We have vengeance to be taken on doomsday |

 The key aim of Armenian separatist groups was liquidation of Khojali city. On February 24, 1992 Presidium of Supreme Soviet of separatist Daqliq Qarabaq passed decision on legal status of this puppet republic and subordinated it to single commander. Guess, who became chairman of self-defense committee of Daqliq Qarabaq? It was Serzh Sarkisian, who is elected president of Armenia recently. Occupation of Azerbaijani Khojali city was the first operation of Serzh Sarkisian as commander. The key purpose of Armenian military groups acting under instruction of Russian and Armenian military commands was destruction of bridgehead, located in Azerbaijani city Khojali. The Armenians aimed to liquidate Khojali city, the last obstacle between Asgeran and Khankendi in the true sense of word. … Every year on the day of Khojali genocide committed by Armenians we cry, grieve watching the scenes shot by Chingiz Mustafayev, Azerbaijani National Hero. And … life continues in celebrities and restaurants. Genocide means “root out of people”. It’s terrible. But the most terrible is that we get used the horror, hiddeen behind the sense of this word. True, different countries commemorate anniversary of this tragedy every year. And so we postpone and gradually hold away vengeance for innocent victims … till doomsday. However we have vengeance to be taken on doomsday. Khojali – is a lesson. It is a horrorful lesson. That is why this lesson must be taught at schools. İ can’t say whether as lesson of genocide or a subject about Khojali? Anyway, the Armenians have published more than 3000 books where they attempt to prove Daqliq Qarabaq is an integral part of Armenia... Azerbaijan commemorates Khojali tragedy one or two days a year, through calender (as other tragic days) as repose from entertainments. Do they think Armenians will leave Khojali and spare tears of children and old men, representing people, “selflessly” taking a fancy to inferior show-business? Why? At the time when Serzh Sarkisian stands at the head of this operation. The president himself!? History is a subject, on which we should always take exam. Organization for Karabakh Liberation: "If Armenia tries to recognize "independence" of Nagorno Karabakh, Azerbaijan will have to initiate military actions against Armenians" The Organization for Karabakh Liberation condemns the continued pressure on Georgia by Russia and Russia's attempt to recognize "independence" of the formations on its territory, says a statement, released by the Organization for Karabakh Liberation.
 The statement notes that these actions aim at execution of empire ambitions in the region.
"Russia openly opposes the western countries. A new military and political situation is forming in the region. Azerbaijan should correctly assess the established situation, take a determined and firm position and be ready to a complicated situation. Azerbaijan should take determined steps against Russia's occupational intentions", says the statement.
The organization says that the first step, which Azerbaijan should take, is to reject the Russian co-chairmanship in the OSCE Minsk Group.
"If Armenia, prompted by Russia, tries to recognize the so-called "independence" of the regime in Nagorno Karabakh, Azerbaijan should immediately start military actions against Armenia occupants.
For this purpose our country should inform international organizations and carry out serious preliminary work both inside the country and out of its bounds", says the statement.
The organization states that the repeated occupation of the region by Russia by Armenia's help should not be admitted, it is necessary to take purposeful steps for liberation of the occupied lands of Azerbaijan.
"For this purpose, it is necessary to join efforts, will of people and the state and demonstrate single position", says the statement. |
