Turkish parliament holds hearings on Armenian-committed Khojaly massacre in Azerbaijan |

 Ankara. Mayis Alizade-APA. Turkish parliament has today focused its attention on the 16th anniversary of Khojaly massacre. APA’s Turkey bureau reports it was noted that the 16th anniversary of Khojaly massacre was marked in different countries of the world. Head of Turkey-Azerbaijan friendship group of the parliament Mustafa Kabakci gave broad information about the atrocity committed by Armenians in Khojaly.
Turkish parliamentarians condemned the massacre committed by Armenians in Khojaly. They said those who committed Khojaly massacre should be punished. They underlined the importance of informing the whole world of this tragedy and said Turkey should increase its efforts for this. Azerbaijani MP Ganira Pashayeva also attended the discussions. APA reports that discussions on Khojaly massacre was held in the group meetings of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and Republican People’s Party (CHP). In the group meetings chairman of MHP Devlet Bahceli and chairman of CHP Deniz Baykal condemned the massacre committed by Armenians against Azerbaijani people. Turkish TRT, Kanal-A, TQRT TV channels, Voice of Turkey radio broadcasted programs about Khojaly massacre, atrocity committed by Armenians in Azerbaijani territories. |
