During the Soviet period, Azerbaijanis were unable to commemorate Genocide against humanity. A National day of mourning has been declared on March 31st, 1998.

Armenians commited numerous horrible crimes against Azerbaijanis started in the year 1918, in order to create '' Great Armenia''. With the Russian backing, Armenians control over 23% of Azerbaijani territory and continue their efforts to force the Azerbaijanis to flee. Armenian historians are constantly falsifying history to justify territorial claims and acts of terrorism against Azerbaijanis.

The Genocides commited in 20th century are wel known, yet the mass-scale massacres of Azerbaijanis still go unreported by the Western media!
