Vagif Mustafa Zadeh (1940-1979)

 A well known Azerbaijani jazz musician and composer.

He skillfully used Azerbaijani music to create a new music genre, a synthesis of jazz and mugham, which was a first in the East. He was an Honored Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR.
